Chance helping dig out new post!

Chance is so excited about Blaine's new Birthday present! I don't know who is happier, every time we walk by it in the garage, he says Basketball hoop!!

Zan is digging out the old post so we can install the new one. This post was buried about three feet with tons of concrete. A complete mess of a project but everything we attempt turns into a bigger project than expecting. The kids will love it when its done.

Before Siding

All the windows have been installed, Santa is ready to start the siding. We are so excited except for the fact that we may not have air condition! We have a wall unit and we are praying that we can keep the wall unit in as long as possible!!

Fenceline Before and After

People were starting to wonder if I do anything? I actually worked two long weekends trimming these trees. I have been obsessed since we bought this house but Zan kept telling me that it was not a priority on our long list. One afternoon, I was trapped outside while watching RJ and Chance (sleeping) so I attacked the fence line! {I was trapped b/c we only live in two rooms and there was a crib in each!}

I love it now, if only we had grass and a nicer fence! I still have some work to do but waiting till we get the yard leveled back out.

So that's what I have been up to lately. We have not posted any blogs lately because most of the work being done indoors and hard to get pictures because it seems so minor in pictures. Jeff has been finely critiquing every detail to make our house safe. He's been putting in fire blocks(explained it to me and it kinda flew past) but glad he's doing it! He's been lowering the shower ceilings(things you never realize are done), he removed the old floor in kitchen area and put in new base board b/c when we removed the hardwood, it had holes! MONEY PIT can I say more! Anyway, so thats the scoop, no pics because all maintenance stuff. One other update is the air condition is being installed at the moment.

Just so all my family appreciates my hard work.........removing all these trees, bushes, and random things cannot be dragged into the woods! We had to cut them all in small pieces and bag them or wrap them in string! I told Zan we just needed to pile them up and burn them! Not here.
